When 6 Chinese and international students joined MEISU on May 29th for a Dragon Boat Festival workshop, little did they know they'd be weaving, stitching, and laughing their way through ancient traditions!
First, we dove into the legend of Dragon Boat Festival, then picked up tools for two classic crafts:
Bamboo Cage Ornaments: Fingers flew as students decorate the little bamboo cage, learning the art of patience and precision.
Aromatic Mugwort Sachets: With needles in hand, everyone stuffed fabric pouches with fragrant mugwort, creating lucky charms that smelled divine!
By the end of the night, every participant held up a pair of handmade treasures: a swaying bamboo cage and a pouch filled with herbal goodness. Smiles were as bright as the colorful threads—proof that crafting together makes traditions feel truly alive!
Stay tuned for more MEISU adventures—because learning culture should be as fun as it is meaningful!
